When I got involved with HelixLife, I wasn’t really interested in the KeTO program. My scales had been broken for a while, and I didn’t really think that having a Blizzard from the Dairy Queen three or four nights a week was a big deal. I finally took a good look in the mirror, bought a new pair of scales and realized that I did need the KeTO1 and the KeTO2.
Even when I don’t select something from the ketogenic menu, I still lose weight, because I’m not hungry and I don’t eat as much.
KeTO vs Nutritional Cleanse – The last time that I intentionally lost weight was done with a nutritional cleanse. Having 2 shakes and a meal on Shake Days was not a problem, but going for a couple of days with just a cleanse drink and without any meals was tough. The KeTO plan is much easier… easier in that I’m not hungry all the time and when I do eat, I don’t eat as much… even if it’s not on the recommended ketogenic meal list.
Minimizing your eating window will promote faster weight loss. While taking KeTO1 and KeTO2, it’s super-easy for me to skip breakfast because I’m never very hungry. Keeping my window of eating between noon and 8pm isn’t as difficult as it might seem. I really do like breakfast foods, so I don’t just skip every breakfast.
I got started on a Saturday and weighed in at 181.6 pounds. I took the KeTO 1 and 2 with breakfast and dinner (or what we Southerners call supper). On days where I skipped breakfast, I waited until lunch to take them. I did a good bit of cheating with bread and potatoes, but I also made some positive changes, such as no longer using hazelnut creamer in my coffee. When I checked the ingredients and found that a serving was 12 grams of sugar and I was probably adding 6 or more servings in a 12 oz cup of coffee, I decided to go black. After all, I was drinking about 6 or 7 of those “cups” of coffee with creamer every day.
You can read more about my personal weight-loss story on my Blog. I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose, so I really took my time. In about 5 weeks, I did lose 11 pounds, and I wasn’t hungry at all.
